INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF COMHAD 2013, DHAKA, BANGLADESH, 20 th & 21 st JANUARY 2013.

With immense efforts and cooperation from COMHAD Bangladesh Chapter, in association with angladesh Pediatric Association and other local regional, National and International NGO’s working for welfare of special children, have organized the International Conference of COMHAD 2013 on 20 th and 21 st January 1013 at Local Government Engineering Department (LGED), Level-5, LGED Bhaban, Agargaon, Shere Bangla Nagar, DHAKA – 1207 Bangladesh. The theme of the conference was “Disability Poses no Limit to Ability”

The conference was inaugurated at the hands of Honorable Member of Parliament Prof Dr M S Akbar. It was a very successful conference attended by about 500 delegates from every corner of the medical and social field working for maternal and child welfare. The eminent International and National faculties actively participated as Faculties for Scientific Sessions held.

It was concluded that with more active participation of medical and paramedical it is necessary to educate common public in the community in respect of prevention of disabilities and use of resources to minimize morbidity, taking the local political leader in confidence. This will minimize the burden all over, and thereby qualitatively will change the social infrastructure of community to live in a better place all over the world.
